WHAT'S UP, WORLD?!
Writing an about page for a blog should not be this hard, but I have struggles with it for as long as I've had a blog.
I'm sure it would be nice for the people who just so happen to stumble upon my blog to know a bit about me, but what do they want to know?
I'm a Christian woman in her early 20s from North-East Kansas who is trying to figure out this whole life thing.
HOW IT STARTED
I started blogging as part of a homework assignment for a composition class I took during my Junior year of high school. I had to write a 250 word minimum post every week.
In the beginning, it was a devotional type blog where I shared my thoughts and writings inspired by some of my favorite Bible verses and passages.
That was six, going on seven, years ago and this blog has evolved a lot since then and has been something that has gone with me through some of the most important years of my life so far. I guess you could say that we've grown up together in a way.
BECOMING
This blog has gone through a lot of changes since I started it. Names changes, aesthetic changes, goal changes, etc. After almost seven years, I have finally landed on a name and a goal that I am happy with.
So why the title BECOMING??
That word embodies where I am at in life. I am learning to become the woman that God created me to be and this blog is the place where I will share the lessons that I am learning, the things I am loving, and the adventures I am having.
WHAT IS ON THIS BLOG
Here's the other hard part, trying to explain what is on this blog.
If I had to classify it as a certain type of blog, I would say it's a lifestyle blog, but it is really just a place for me to share a little bit of myself and experience with the world with the hope that it will impact others.
I have a couple of series on here; The Single Life and I'm Learning.
The Single Life is one that I am still developing and deciding what all I want to include, but the basis of it is a look into my life and struggle as a single woman in her 20s who has never been on a date but wants to be married and have a family someday.
I'm Learning is literally just that. I share with you the things that I am learning in life. For example, i have one post about learning to trust God's plan for my life and one about the hard reality that life is often too short.
Aside from that, I write about what I have the inspiration for.
I do round-ups of some of my current favorite, themed quote posts, list posts such as What To Do When You're Bored and What To Do After You Cry.
Something I am planning to do this year is implement more "lifestyle blog" type posts such as; recipes, DIYs, travel themed posts, tips and life hacks, self care themed posts, and so on.

So, there you have it. I finally have an About page for my blog!
